Not quite comic magazines but in the vein of Monsters of Filmland. Pretty nice copies too.

Ya know, the shark mag reminds me of a similar rag I had as a kid. Focused mostly on sharks, but had some jellyfish, barracuda, and giant squid vs. whales articles as well. Don't exactly remember the tile, maybe Killers of the Deep or something. It was cool & I wore it to shreds.

I think I had that issue too....Killers of the Deep sounds about right. Loved that magazine and ones of that ilk. They often included shark attack survivor stories and close-ups of shark bites on legs and such. Very cool to a 8-year old... Between Sharks and Star Wars, the late 70's and early 80's were a good time to be a kid.
