i was looking at some of milehighs cgc graded comics and i noticed on the ones with the new labels they have mile high 2 noted on the far right.i have seen the dallas stephens noted in the middle, but this is the first time that i have seen the milehigh 2 noted.are they doing this with every mh 2 or just for the defender of comics chuck himself? 27_laughing.gif

Steve advised me when I asked previously that supposedly Chuck "found" some MH2s in a room so they will put the notation on the books that he submits from this "find". So...forget about sending your copies in yourself. Anyways, who cares about the notation! Shouldn't really bring any additional premium! confused-smiley-013.gif

They are doing it just for issues in which Dallas makes an appearance... 27_laughing.gif

Actually, it should let us know that there are hundreds of other copies just like it...

If that doesn't scare away buyers... nothing will! grin.gif

Good point, Valiantman... but sadly, there are probably plenty of ignorant and/or casual/part-time collectors who might perceive some "added value" from the Mile High monicker on the label.

The better question might be: when are we going to get a definition of what a pedigree is, from CGC? Or is this in same vein as the old "I can't define pornography for you, but I know it when I see it" line?

(At this point, given the wide range of books which have received some sort of 'pedigree' stamp from CGC, I don't think you could find one set of criteria that would apply to all of them. Unless the MH II warehouse find can be considered "single-owner" (well, the Mafia is really just one big happy family, right?) smile.gif

It must be nice to have a direct pipeline into CGC such that anything you send them gets a pedigree 'seal of approval' ... ultimately, this just dilutes the whole concept of pedigreed collections.
