There are a few printing lines on the front cover. I know this is a printing defect, but I'm not sure if or how it affects the grade ... Divad?

Sweet book, if the lines are a production defect, they should not affect the grade.

I'd guess a picky 8.5/9.0 for the wear on the bottom edge; no grade drop for the printing streaks. Really can't see much wrong with it.

I had the same scanner problem, pointed out by the same astute boardie. The default on mine is set to "enhanced."

Difficult to make a call when detail is lost in the brightness.

I would call it a VF only because of the top edge FC (especially top R corner) and the bottom edge FC defects. Production defects allowed in this grade

There is absolutely no staining on this book.

It's not staining - you can see the same blemish/fade on my copy - it's the way it's printed.

My mistake about the staining The percosets have worn off and I can see clearer now... :: I could go with a VF/NM or a NM- on this one.
