PGM X-MEN 101 - help! specific defect questions

It's a beautiful copy but it has a couple of nicks (not Niks) in the bottom edge toward the right, a 1/4" wide dent in the top front cover, and a huge distributor blue spray paint blob on the top back cover. How do these defects get added up and how would you grade this? Thanks!

You've got the brightness on this baby turned up a pit, but if there's only the two spine nicks

at the staple I'd say 9.0.

It did seem a little bright, I'll try to tweak it. And I am selling. It seems a fairly popular comic on eBay right now and I was thinking of an auction for this one. If it happens I will announce it in an appropriate thread.
