Looks tight, but I'm usually reluctant to grade with any level of certainty on a scan and, frankly, even less with a digital photo.

Yeah I agree. Digital photos at an angle can be hard to judge.

Even without good scans, this looks like a high grade book, 9+.

actually a buddy and I just checked out the cgc costs ... looks like economy grading is $29 ... forgot all about a discount and the shipping.

 

I assume it is registered mail? huh ... $10 - $12 shipping there and back maybe, but that's just a wild guess.

$35 - 40 is about right for Standard pre-1975.
