I bought this one on Ebay about 3-4 years ago before I knew not to buy from small cropped pics. Give me your honest opinion. Thanks. Notalble defects are: water damage through the whole top 3/4 inch of the cover, subscription crease(book may have been pressed), and lower right back cover tear and spine split.

I think 2.5 is being too hard on it, but "officially" water damage may knock it there. I think it's a solid VG 4.0

Yes, the water damage goes through all the top part of the comic.

Personally, can't go with a straight VG because of the width and depth of the water ... 3.0, maybe 3.5 if in hand.

Yeh, it's definitely one of the nicer 3.0-3.5 copies out there. I'm glad I decided to buy a CGC 9.2 copy last week though. I may be willing to sell the undercopy if anyone is interested...

Looks like the consensus is the water damage will drop it. But it still looks pretty good even with that minimal water damage.
