Yeah, you're right nothing to worry about here. He has all the indicators of an established golden-age dealer.

Certainly a scam. He probably recently pocketed a few bucks when he sold this Superman #1 for $3,000.

Kudos to the detectives here. Some of you might consider collaborating with a television show like "Dateline" or "20/20." Someone could go undercover and track down the felon(s) as if you were a sincere buyer--and then expose them before hundreds of thousands of folks. I could see the show's title now: something along the lines of "The Golden eBay-Age of Comic Scamming"...

this one was graded back in 2000...so, I have sent it in for "re" evaluation....can't get any worse, right?
