Fantastic Four / Silver Surfer car on Pimp My Ride

The funniest thing about the episode is that it starts with the guy whose ride gets pimped holding up what looks like a modern variant cover of Fantastic Four: 4 and saying "This comic is worth $150! I think it's worth more than my car!"

 

The guys at the shop give the car a glove compartment comic book vault (with electronic spring action!) and splurged on a raw copy of Fantastic Four #50 that pops up. They tell the car owner

 

"This is the first comic the Silver Surfer started out in! It's worth $4000!"

Let us not forget, MTVs' 'Pimp my Ride' was the show that started ALL present car customization shows, on TV back in 2000 I believe.

Russ, got to agree, it's pretty scary too watch. Particularly when you know the 'Street thug' hosting the show obviously drives a lexus
