Wizard World LA 2008 any one going?

35 posts in this topic

It's always been my favorite LA comic show.

Thats not hard because its really the only big one LA has.

Its an ok show, just out of all the WW shows in my opinion, LA is the worst.

Actually, the Dallas Wizard show is the worst, by far!

:sorry:

The show, not the attendees! :foryou:

I am still excited to go, but just not willing to go all 3 days.

I am treating the Saturday at WW La as the warm up till I work with my NJ dealer at the NY Comic Con.

I am flying home for over a week so I can attend all 3 days, plus I get to use my exhibitor badge and never have to wait in line to get in.

snooooogins!!

My WWLA itinerary:

Friday: Submit books for on-site grading (I know it costs more but I don't have to deal with shipping and the waiting...)

Saturday: Bring my brother and attend the Restoration Detection Seminar. And hopefully a forum dinner. hm

Sunday: Don't need to go unless my books weren't ready on Saturday. Which means that I will be there on Sunday looking through long boxes.

Hope to meet some of you there! :applause:

usually $22.00 so dont wast your bucks on crappy issues.

I saw a guy on time in front of me at WW Philly and he was onsite grading books like (1991) Jim Lee X-men #1 covers and some other horrible 90's .

And me and the CGC guy totally agreed on what a waste of time and money that was.

Thanks for the date correction. Glad I didn't buy my plane ticket yet. doh!

Does Michael Golden do sketches?

I am unsure. I have yet to meet Mr. Golden and am not that experienced in getting sketches.
