Shill Bidding

4 posts in this topic

I have no complaints about shill bidders. The Heritage bids are bumped by the sellers in the last few days so it is not frowned upon. E-Bay has private auctions for the shills to bump the prices. Shill bidding exists in many auction markets. What I complain about is the lack of deception on the part of many sellers. Many don't seem to care that the buyers can easily spot the shill bids. The latest case in point is Ebay auction:

Please try to use a little bit of deception: Here are the recent bids by the buyer:

Cosmicman seems to be a bit partial towards fred. Fred seems to like the buyers taste so much he decided to get into the act as well.

I would only ask the sellers to use a few different buyers and move them around.

We have or local Comicon this Sunday.

I was going to attempt to trade all my VF-NM Bronze stuff for reading grade Silver.

If I can't trade them, I'll get them up the next week! thumbsup2.gif
