Round 18 Commentary

And as Round 18 draws to a close and the last tired graders struggle across this stage's finish line, toro holds his commanding 6 point lead heading into the final 2 rounds.

Even with greggy and the peloton matching him stride for stride with 5 points this round, it's hard to see who can challenge him at this late point.

Divad finds his second wind and climbs into 3rd place once again.

Flaming out spectacularly and losing a wheel (and valuable points) in the process, sckao drops to 4th and with that losing virtually all hope. The rest of the field can only watch as toro closes in on total victory, leading 15 out of 18 rounds in first place.

The mathematically eliminated line inexorably climbs yet again and is now at 55 points!

This has been ROUND 18 of the Twenty Round Tour-de-Grade!

How about putting in a couple other lines for shots at 2nd and 3rd place... give us mathematically eliminated players something to shoot for, some little ray of hope :insane:

At this point, unfortunately, most of us are playing just for the fun of it... :acclaim:

But congrats for TWO Bullseyes in a row. I thought that was a tough book. :applause:

Hey, as I said to Nik a couple of rounds ago, I can't let up! And I quote from that PM "Now greggy is on my butt too! And I know I don't want that(not sure anyone does, but I digress!) :baiting:

You can win it in the next round. :sumo:

I could also get a negative and get passed! I've already done that! If by some miracle I have it won on the next round, lol I will still put a grade in for the final round (and get another negative!!!) :insane:

Toro! :golfclap:

The top players have mastered the Nik bump and can pick out production wear from non-production wear.

That is total BS :sumo:

No, it's jealousy. ;)

I wish I could do a better job telling the difference between production scuffing and plain old scuffing.

It was a tough book as I just posted my commentary in the #18 contest post...even though production related steered myself into wanting to believe that CGC would grant that 9.2 vs 9.4...which I'm cool with but in my mind, production smuckshion it's a 9.2...

The thing I wanna know, toro, just what did you negotiate in your pact with the devil???
