Another thing about it that rung bells with me was that the challenger's first record breaking high-score was dismissed due almost entirely to his machine's association with a known 'cheater'.

 

The machine's validity could easily have been verified by a techie, but rumour, hearsay and 'bad association' were far more important to the community. Remind you of anything?

 

All those guys who Invalidated the score where in Billys pocket!

They were like little yes men hope to bask in the glow of Billys records since they had no hope of winning themselves

The mere fact that Twin Galaxies could simply accept Billy's video tape with no hardcore verfication just shows how badly they kiss his and bow down to his every move. I found it just plain wrong how they can even accept his work as being credible. He doesn't do live competitions, and his videos are such *beep* quality. He doesn't even have the balls to bring the tape in himself.

I saw it last night funny enough. Most excellent. Absolutely fantastic. The "hero" is lovable, the "villain" despicable, but best of all is the villains "toadies". Without saying too much about his lackeys , I hate them.
