The 7,100th DC Comic?

I'm scanning some comics. When I opened up my Scribbly Number 1, there was some handwriting on the bottom of the first page in pencil that I didn't notice when I first read this comic. It reads:

 

7,100th DC Comic Dec 1977 Greg Z. Manos

 

So, there you have it, Scribbly No. 1 from 1948, according to Mr. Manos, is the 7,100th DC comic. I hope this information is useful for someone out there who may have been wondering about the 7,100th DC comic (unverified).

 

Anyone know a Greg. Z. Manos? Doesn't turn up with a Google search.

Not sure what the 7,100 refers to but Scribbly 1 was not anywhere near close to the 7000th comic published by DC. I think you are in the latter part of the 60s for that.
