Guess who scanned in some books? ;)

 

Here's one I bought about 5 years ago from Motor City Comics. Digging it back up, I noticed what appears to be discoloration on the top spine corner. Not sure how this affects the grade. The scan makes it appear it has a tanning streak down the R FC. It's nowhere near that noticable in person. Same goes for the " angled shadow" on the top of the BC. Can't see it in hand.

I'm thinking that the "stain" (looks like the book was "dipped" in something) might bring it down to a 7.5 - 8.0 as it's structurally quite nice. if the "stain" has soaked the interior pages then it'd drop below 7.0 IMHO.................
