Book is a solid VG+. Cover is still mostly white, with some tanning on the far right side. Spine looks great. Some faint circles on the cover from being used as a coaster back in the day (don't you hate that?). Book has shifted just a bit, causing a sort of overhang (see pic, top left). I didn't want to sell this book, but the funds are needed for a TOS page...and I'd rather have the art.

Exceptionally tough book....always brings multiples of guide. At least you made one buyer's day!

Funny thing was, I was going to send it to be graded, but forgot it had a spine split. When I dug it out, the split took the wind out of me sails. I figured the CGC folks would have knocked it down a ton for the split, so I thought, what was the use. What is fair market value on that book anyway?

A) You don't wanna know. But I don't know.

B) I checked GPA. No sales since 2004. Lowest grade (6.5 Bethlehem) sold for 360 in May '04.

Don't beat yourself up over selling it....it's a lower grade nice presenting book with a classic cover that I'm sure you more than tripled your money on in the sale. Could have made more, but you did just fine.

 

We've all sold books and then realized how cool they really were. I sold a Headline 8 in complete Fair for under guide or near guide back in the day when that was well under $50.....I haven't had a chance to buy another one since and that's been over 18 years ago.
