What is wrong with CGC's Holder?!

7 posts in this topic

I see two identical books. One is a CGC 9.8/White pages and the other has been sitting in mylar for years. However, the cover is brighter and crisp. Now, on the 9.8 book, some parts of the cover are visible through the inside-cover pages!?

Why does my CGC 9.8 book allow me to see the inside pages THROUGH the cover, whereas my bag/board/mylar book is solid, crisp, bright and doesn't have this issue at all!?

I've noticed these issues with Hulk#181 and Hulk#377. Why can I see through the covers on the CGC books!? :frustrated:

Yeah, don't worry about the translucence. Worry, instead, about some of your books becoming slightly warped from being stored in inner wells that are warped (waves that are visible from an oblique angle) but without any backing board support to keep them flat.
