Just got a call from CGC that four of my books were being bumped up a tier. I really need to sub more books. Nailed three, the rest all came back higher than I had them. Here are the books, my grades first, their grades second.

I'm confused. I thought everyone was complaining about how too tight they were after Steve left...now too loose....so really...nothing's changed.

 

Not complaining at all, I am very happy for the boardies above who got the grades.

 

I have just seen this year alot of books that "good graders" have pre-graded come back higher from CGC.

 

I had 3 books that I thought could only get 9.8's with pressing which Matt Nelson turned down as we both agreed 9.6 was the highest they could go. So no pressing was done and I just submitted them to CGC.

 

All 3 got 9.8's and they were pretty key books where the difference 9.6/9.8 was a huge amount. :o

 

I will take the gift grades every now and then.

 

Not trying to spoil anyones fun.

You're not submitting books on the Standard Tier. hm
