It took me about five 9.6's before I got a 9.8 copy of the regular USM #1. Got very lucky on the blue target, though. It was a raw ebay purchase, and the one and only I bought. Mine were both raw E-Bay books. I thought the DR might have a shot at 9.9 as it looked pretty much flawless. Guess they saw something I missed. The USM I thought would have been a 9.6 at most. Guess I saw something they missed (or my imagination was running rampant). Happy either way with the books. Still looking for that Blue Doc Ock USM 1, at a good price. You may have beaten me on the bid for that one. I have just about all of the USM run, except for a couple of the variants. like the Doc Ock cover and the DF #1, White #1 and a couple others. Dark Reign: The List (Villain Variant) Ultimate Spider-man #1 - thought this was a 9.6 when I sent it in Batman The Killing Joke 1st print Muppet Show #4 - C2E2 Wrigley Field Convention Edition X-Men v2 #25 - thought it was a 9.2-9.4 CGC messed the description up.
