Nice monocolor book! I'd agree the slight wear along lower spine and edge is likely enough to keep from going above an 8.5

what is that crease/scratch on the Beasts left knee?? assuming that is a defect and not scanner artifact or some loose schmutz, i'd agree that an 8.5 (maybe a 9.0) is a possibility considering minimal additional defects (wire marks front and back covers on lower edge and a somewhat rough lower edge FC).....

yea I assumed that was on the book(beast's knee) and true this probably looks better in hand
