Which book would you choose?

I torn between 2 books. They both have the same CGC grade and I'm just curious as to what others would choose.

 

1) A book with white pages but has some marvel chipping on the front cover.

 

or

 

2) A book with Off White to White pages with minimal to no chipping on the front cover.

 

I'm not a PQ freak but after seeing these two side by side the white looks so much cleaner .

I would choose minimal damage over PQ--with CGC books you cant see the pages anyway.

I hate chipping too...ow/w is pretty much the same as w, both will remain that way for many years to come, and outlive us all!

Are we talking $9900 vs $10,000

I'd go with the ow/w book. I hate chipping as well.....

Worth a try. Old label PQ jumps from ow/w to white....and if the book hasn't suffered from SCS.....there's always the possibility of a grade BUMP .
