marion is probably hard to recognize except to cardinal fans but i thought

someone might know him since he passed away recently.

 

robinson (1919-1972), all-star brooklyn dodgers second baseman (1949-54), was the 1949 NL MVP and was on the 1955 championship team.

marion (1916-2011), all-star st louis cardinals shortstop (1943-4, 1946-50), was the 1944 NL MVP and was on the 1942, 1944 & 1946 championship teams.

This one is a toughie.

 

I'm going to guess that the photo is of artist Nina Albright (reading Captain Aero v3#12).

 

Ray Hermann of Orbit/ToyTown (and several dozen names) Publications. Al Feldstein remembers being interviewed by Hermann but was not hired.
