Harbinger, Late... No sleep....

10 posts in this topic

Just looked at GPA. Average sales price is about $700. All time high is about $1000. None have sold in almost two years...

Just pulled up the valiantcomics site, saw the average was 800. Still an incredible price for a modern age book. :screwy: Id rather have a nice silver age key for that price.

Neither have I, I have a PGX 9.6 that I suspect is a 9.8. Im really thinking about sending that out to CGC. Especially since Ratner might direct the movie, meaning I should dump it while I can.

You should dump all PGX books while you can. :P

Harbinger #1 has a production flaw that keeps the grades low.

Spine splits on the cover... normally at top, bottom, or near the staples.

287 universal submissions... only 12 in CGC 9.8. That's 4%.

Most moderns have around 20%-50% in CGC 9.8 on the census.

4% is ridiculously low. $5,740 has been spent on slabbing costs alone.

It's safe to say that more than 12 people want this book.

If there were 20 or 50, it would be a different story. There are 12.

10 of them were found before June 2006.

Over the past 21 months, 2 out of the 87 submitted have been 9.8.

The rate of 9.8 has fallen from 5% (pre-2006) to 2.3% (recently).

That's not counting the pre-screening that kept many copies off the census altogether.

You guys with 9.8 candidate copies need to get them CGC-slabbed and cash in. :gossip:
