  1. We did, and were WELL overdue for some wall-book perusing and bargain-bin diving... and of course, that all important "Post-Event Pub Outing" did not disappoint!😁 *Full Disclosure: We are NOT Zima drinkers (notably, it held the condiments).
  2. Whoa, coolness! I caught his NES-doc on Amazon recently... good stuff! Thanks for the link!
  3. Not sure 'bout the rest, but Mass Effect 1 and 2 are ... epic, IMO. ME2 in particular, the DLC is all aces, bought every one on day one. Bioware gots lots of mah $$ that year. ME3, no so much... multi-player is uber-keen, but I have yet to bother playing my Shepard through to conclusion. Honestly, one of the few xBox games (ME1 & 2) I've played through multiple times... (thumbs u (thumbs u
  4. FYI: I spotted the 'brand new' Star Trek game for xBox 360 at Target today for only $19.99?! Was is that much of a bomb? Heck, even the Aliens: Colonial Marines game was 'on sale' for $33 and I know that was a real downer. 'Sup wit dat?
  5. Neat pieces, Pete! I really like the additions of the nameplates to your Trading Card Game art there... those finished pieces are all very well done.
  6. Man you have the coolest pulps, Theagenes! I didn't even know 'bout that one. (thumbs u
  7. 1970's Awesomeness! (thumbs u "I'll cream you later, Cat!"
  8. Ooooh... ahh... yowza... Some truly fantastic Fan-zines there, Theagenes! (thumbs u
  9. That painted cover is really neat and an off-beat 1st Appearance too! Nice pull, Greggy! (thumbs u I'll need to keep an eye out for that issue...
  10. AWESOMENESS! (thumbs u Complete w/ Neutralizer, Energy Anaylzer and Translator too!
  11. Just recently read Frederik Pohl's award-winning 1977 classic, "Gateway": I found a sweet "Book Club" ed. HC w/ DJ at a local antique mall for a scant $3! I've always loved that Boris Vallejo cover art, but simply never got around to actually reading it. I really liked it and have since scored the remaining "Heechee Saga" books and will get through them eventually. In the meantime, they make a fine addition to my bookshelf!
  12. ... broke out these too recently -- Ral Partha, high-quality pewter minitures, many w/ gemstone accents: I have about 30 in all, cost me a fortune of my part-time 1990 budget... man, what a geek!
  13. Finally got the camera fired-up... Behold, my best Goodwill find EVER, about a yr ago -- looks "brand new" and is crispy-mint! C.1980 D&D Basic Set: Including manual, 1st module, all polyhedral dice, the original (unused) crappy crayon and even the ad-inserts: ... oh yeah, it was $3?!
  14. Yessiree! (thumbs u The Black Hole was Disney's 1st "PG" film!
  15. Yessiree, bob! For a scant fin, you really can't lose! (thumbs u Besides, who didn't dig that sweet Lightning-bow?
