This was first number #1 of any note that I ever purchased at a newstand. Consequently it has been handled way too much over the years. Yes, there is a slight NCBC running parallel to Conan's spear. Thanks for any opinions on grade

No tear, just looks like an indentation into the paper. Cannot be seen from inside BC.

My tanning measuring stick reads a 7.0

The front cover looks 8.5, but the discoloration on the back cover just doesn't quite cement the grade 8.0/8.5 depending on the days and the people who grade it.

With the FC crease and the BC indentation, I'd have to say 7.5....
