Grimm Fairy Tales missing from Overstreet?

40 posts in this topic

What's the deal with this? One of the hottest independent moderns out and Overstreet eliminates it from the guide?

Maybe they didn't want to keep up with all the variants of this title. I doubt that there's many titles like this one that sold out completely all of the first 10 issues or so.

Kinda odd it's missing isn't it?

There are thousands of comics missing from the OPG.

Duh, we know that Earl, but the fact that this series is fairly new and hugely popular makes me question why they omitted it. :foryou:

Hugely popular?!? :roflmao:lol

Maybe you don't follow but at the LCS's I go to Grimm is a sell out every time it's on the shelf.

Try finding a first print of #2 for under $50 and then let me know where it is and I'll buy it. (thumbs u

Under $75 in VF/NM is more like it.

A LCS here had a raw one the graded at MINT and it took less then 2 days for it to sale at 100.00

As a side note, I guess they consider it underground because of the mature content, but Tarot Witch of the Black Rose was left out also.

First 15 issues are not easy to find at all

Well, I was being "loose" on saying $50 because I know there's none to be had.

I have a #3 in my box that I'm taking to a con this weekend that I've priced at $65 and I don't expect it to last half the day at that price. People gripe about Wizard's price guide all the time but for certain books like this, they are spot on.

I'm one of those weirdos that buys all the variants of this title knowing that they won't (for the most part) be worth too much in the future but... same old mantra, I buy what I like. (thumbs u

i was wondering if this series actually gets the money that wizard says its worth. im glad i jumped on the bandwagon early, i got 1, 2, 3, and the signed con version of 1 all for 40 bucks about ayear ago

The stories were ok in the beginning but they've change to more of an ongoing format that is much better.

It's definitely no where near what I would call porn in any of the issues although the covers on some of them may seem so.

The Rio covers, and now all the variants are the only "soft porn" of the book

The stories were good, but I stopped reading them when around 9 when I could no longer get a NM copy from my LCS

Buffyfan...Is it 8 (Jack in the Bean Stalk) that features the only cover with a male

May dig my copies out and have a sale

No doubt - since the "bad girl" market crashed, these pervs must have a lot of extra money. :insane:

Also, this guys seems to have a ton of them, and at BIN prices much lower than that.
