who are some trusted Golden Age comic sellers?

40 posts in this topic

looking for sellers who grade decent and ship decent.

you know pay for a book and you don`t have to call them up and ask when did you ship book or buy a fine comic and it comes back looking like .

I have only dealt with mile high comics and mycomicsshop.

any others I can put on my list as good as these 2 for a beginner?

this would be for golden age comics only.

thanks for any info.

really, those 2 are the best, no doubt

I actually didn't read the post, just the title...

but you are right, Gator.

Bedrock

Moondog

Harley

There are many others that sort of meet your criteria, but not quite. Metro doesn't always necessarily agree with CGC's grading. Superworld can be a bit soft on Golden Age grading.

Yup. Forgot about Gary/Moondog and Harley.

Again, lots of forumites know their stuff too...October, Jeff (nearmint), Ciorac, Detective27kid, Sacentaur, Centaurman, skypinkblu, Mr. Schomburg....a lot of these guys and gals are great to deal with!

Oh yeah, me too...going to be unloading a ton of GA. Shameless plug again.

R.

Whatcha going to be unloading?

good to know things will get better for me, I do like it that those 2 will at least ship fast to me.

The evidence continues to indicate that we're a gullible lot...

Where cool comics are concerned we bite first and ask what was for supper later.

Maybe I should have said "real world" job.

lol

I sold comics for a living from 1978 until 1999. Believe me I know it's a real job.

But the "world" of comics is so unlike the rest of the tangible world. We play by our own rules, we have our own vocabulary, we have our own saints and heroes and devils and villains. And it all borders on the edge of craziness.

And I love it!

I traded legal services for someone to create my EsquireComics.com website. You can trade golf items!

Or I will take one of your ashcans in trade for getting you a website. hm

If I had a website I'd have to keep it up. Scanning. Grading. Pricing. Posting. That's a lot of work!
