detective 27

marvel 1

superman 1

batman 1

captain america 1

all star 8

amazing mystery funnies 1/2 (first everett)

the comics magazine 1 (still GA, right?)

all american 16...

 

flash 1 and mf52 don't make my top 10 cut

The Spectre just isn't as an enduring character as Flash or Green Lantern, and in equal grades a Detective #1 will spank it's value every time.

 

(and if Wonder Woman was on the cover of All-Star #8, she would easily make this list).

you know, even without WW on the cover of AS 8, I would have to include that in my top ten...

I too, love MF, but don't consider spectre's first to be top 10 "key" ...top 20, yes, just for the golden age geek in me

I've owned a few Action #1s before, but my grail Godzilla poster...It's really, really cool. I offered to trade the owner a Porsche for it before, but he turned me down - I'll see if I can dig up a photo.

(Future-value wise, the Action is a no-brainer though)
