PGM Uncanny X-Men 129 and Avengers Annual 10

Before I post the scans, Thanks for any input in this. I'm just trying to decide if I want to get these CGC SS at Motor City Comic Con, or not.

 

X-Men 129 Front:

Avengers Annual 10 Front: Notice the top right, where it appears there are crayon marks on the cover.

X-Men is prdy nice 9.0 maybe.

 

Avengers is 9.2 without the crayons, as it is maybe 8.0? Don't know how much to deduct for crayons. Have that stuff removed and don't tell anyone

Hey Jason. They both look like 9.0's to me with some rounding on the corners and light soiling on the back cover of the X-Men. Of course that crayon will bring down the Avengers. My own opinion is I would not put CGC fees into those books unless you KNEW they would at least get a 9.4.

Thanks for your opinion and the advice. It's probably not likely that I will be getting these CGC SS, based on the grades.
