Comic Conventions?

I'm headed over to the East Coast (Montreal to be exact) from across the pond in Jolly ol' England, and am in need of a convention or two to go to. I'm there from the 15'th of May to the 3rd of June. A road trip is do-able so any where within a day of Montreal is help.

The best place I have found to look is at this website - Comic Book Conventions and go to Convention Calendar.

 

It won't help with proximity to a location but does list the conventions themselves by location.

 

It even lists international conventions and direct links to the convention.

If you can leave Montreal right from the start, your best bet might be the Motor City show in Detroit May 16-18th.

Montreal to Detroit is about a 9 hour drive. Very simple though all highway driving and the Detroit show is worth checking out.

Do UK citizens need a visa or anything to enter the US via a third country?

How about the ability to bring rental cars across borders?

I know it is virtually impossible to bring a US rental car into Mejico.Not sure about the borders to the north.
