OT- Scanner resolution

Hey all,

I just bought an all in one printer combo. I'm a little bummed that the scanner isn't long enough to post a full slabbed comic.

 

But I was really wondering what resolution seems to work best when scanning both slabbed and raw books? I was fooling around with the scanner and with it's default dpi, the book I scanned did not look right at all.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try 150-200 dpi.

 

Make the final image between 700-900 pixels wide.
