Hey guys...just wondering which ones do most of you guys use?

 

 

1 mil Mylar® Arklites™ For Graded Comics 8 9/16 x 13 1/4

 

1 mil Mylar® Arklites™ For Graded Comics 8 7/8 x 13 3/8

 

 

2 mil Mylar® Arklites2™ For Graded Comics 8 9/16 x 13 1/4

w/ 1 1/2” flap

This is gonna sound dumb...but why would anyone put graded slabs in mylar bags?

Raw Comics? Yes.

Original Art? Yes.

 

What's the benefit of putting Mylar outside of a plastic case?

Just to protect the slabb would be my guess. Persoanlly I don't like the slabbs clanging around agaisnt each other and the CGC bags are not the best for showcasing the slabbs either.

I didn't know if there was another reason. I can't see the purpose in spending the extra money on Mylar.

You know how stunning a nice book looks in a Mylar? Well I just got a nice GA book that is slabbed and in one of these new Mylar slab protectors...let me tell you the difference is like day and night! the book just looks stunning even in the slab/mylar combo. You can't say the same in the baggie that CGC provides. That was always a peeve of mine....until now.
