SUPERMAN CHARCOAL DRAWING BY JOE SHUSTER 1940S

I came SO CLOSE to pulling the trigger at 6K for this item.

Is it worth the money or are charcoal sketches not desirable?? Did I make a mistake in not acquiring this time.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That is, by far, one of the nicest ones I have seen.

And it's enormous in size from the description.

I have seen a few of the head sketches and 9x12 sized full body superman sketches sell over the last few years and they go for pretty nice money.

At $6k I think this would have been a nice price for this piece. a 16x20 Supes with that much detail, a classic pose and double signed....yeah I woulda pulled the trigger too if I was in the market for it.

I think you will have your chance over the next year to get a sketch, there are some nice ones out there. So don't beat yourself up over this one.
