hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for all the positive posts and pm's concerning my dad's surgery yesterday. and thanks to Jay for posting an update. He's doing well post Op.

 

I won't be posting periodical updates or anything- if he heads South, I'll let everyone know.

So...

WTF was this thread originally about ? I've been ignoring it for months now.

 

Well for about 20 pages we went thru the stages of keeping the thread alive until you returned by just posting graemlins then we gave you up for dead after several hours of "where is towards2112?? " then we had a brief (few minute) memorial where we discussed everything you have contributed to this thread and then Roy made a brief appearance in the thread to tell us how long he has known you and a funny story about when he found a in your glovebox one time when he worked on your car, and then...
