I may pick this up on the cheap, raw later on as ASM 316 is one of my fav covers O.A.T....Spawn 223 it is then!

Man... I passed on this one but would have been PO'd if this was the case.

That's pretty of them to change the cover at the last second. They had to know there would be a huge amount ordered just because of the WD ties.

And then waiting until they arrive at stores before announcing it?!? How long ago were these printed?

 

I don't follow Spawn's print run numbers, but if this book got a bump in sales this "honest mistake" will come off as a WD cash grab. They should comp shops the same number of #223's who upped their orders on #222.
