Until recently there were a bunch up for $5 each bin. And they didn't sell.

are they inferior quailty books?

They're a tad smaller and most of them are in rough shape from what I have seen. Paper stock is perhaps a little thinner than what you are used to in the us.

The paper stock is slightly thicker than newsprint paper. Very thin.

Interesting that the total price of $430 was the final bid and the reserve was not met.

Pages dont go for as much as covers/splash pages. I usually see them around 100-250

those are both interiors...I just wonder how much of the increase in value is because of the wider audience of Ebay vs. CLink...or that 6 months really made that much more of a difference?

Yep I would say so...but interestingly enough, the guy who got it jumped in at a grand unless I am reading it wrong......I was expecting that auction to run out of gas at around $575.00, unless monkey-business. I don't really know any of the gpa stats though.

I was lucky enough to win one of Tony Moore's guaranteed sketches for this past weekends Comikaze convention in LA. I wasn't really planning on attending the convention until I found out that Tony would be attending. I took the chance on the eBay auction and ended up with the second highest bid which got me the Sunday sketch slot and here's what Tony came up with:

I'm very happy with the way it came out and very happy to have a Walking Dead piece by Tony in my collection.
