Let's try this again

He doesn't run auctions at the same time. He runs them back to back or spaced out. The time constraints didn't allow for that.

Fees are the same on 2nd chance offers as they are for listing. The only difference is the listing fee which is free for how many auctions they list.

As for time they saved the time to hit the relist option. ;)

Looks like someone may have gotten a pretty sweet deal depending on condition.

Did you actually post "someone may have gotten a pretty sweet deal depending on condition," about a lot that you yourself just bought on Ebay?

We are getting into the minutia now but its important to explore because you are being pretty hard-headed about it, as usual for a typical Canadian such as yourself. :baiting:

1. If he listed more than 1 of his commissions at the same time, (which I have seen him do, see last years NYCC)..then he will be seeing bidders watch 2 separate listings which could keep the price of his auctions down because there are two to watch instead of just the one.

2. Nowhere did it say that the runner up sketch was purchased through ebay - TM could very well have contacted him later and said that he will get a sketch. Thereby saving him fees. Now had he done a "2nd chance" purchase through Ebay, then you would be right, but that information was not known.

Clearly stated in the auction that the first and 2nd highest bids wins a sketch.
