Comic-Salon Erlangen - Look what I found!!!

Erlangen is the biggest show (I think) we have over here in Germany. According to the organizers there were 25,000 people there this time. Unfortunately it's very Euro-focused, so not much US comic things going on. I bought some books, including a FF#19 and a Kamandi #1, but interesting stuff was hard to come by.

 

I usually don't care much for European stuff, except maybe some Moebius or Druillet, and I have no clue about the German market. Haven't bought a German book since the late seventies...

 

Until I found this little booth selling these:

And what's really amazing is that the inside art is on par with the covers!!! They've been around since 2004 and I had no idea...

The Horror Shocker #5 has got Richard Corben written all over it & I really like the art for #11.

 

 

Yep, for #5 the first thing I thought was Corben.

#11 is a Frazetta tribute....right down to the copycat type signature.
