SDCC: Dinner Anyone?

Hi everyone,

 

We've got 40 people signed up for the dinner at this point. I figure some will drop out and more will add on, and we'll eventually hit 50 (like the last time).

 

Details:

 

Location: Rei do Gado (walking distance from Con)

Cuisine: All-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ (includes unlimited salad/seafood appetizer bar)

Drinks: Unlimited Soda included (alochol pay separately)

Time: 7:30 PM (convention closes at 7PM)

Date: Thursday, July 24th

Price: 60 dollars per person (includes mandatory 18% gratuity and 7.75% CA tax)

Has anyone here had a problem carrying a portfolio for your 11 x 17 OA on any airlines, specifically American?

I haven't done it, but I know plenty of people who do. Hopefully someone will respond to your question who's actually done it.

I took mine on a AA flight from California to Seattle in May without a problem. Took it as a carry on and it measures 17x19

Hi everyone,

 

Just a last minute reminder about the SDCC comic art dinner on Thursday the 24th at 7:30 PM at Rei do Gado. Price 60 dollars per person, which includes everything (food, tax, gratuity) except alcohol. Soft drinks are also included.

 

We will definitely have over 40 people, and have room for up to 50 or 55, so please let me know if you want to come and I'll add you to the list!

 

Otherwise, I'll see you all at the Show!!

No problem. It's a 10-15 minute walk, so you'll be at the restaurant on-time. I'm sure we'll mingle for 15-30 minutes before sitting down to feast.
