ART DAY (Part One)! WEIRD SCIENCE Cover!!

This actually arrived yesterday . . .

 

Al Feldstein's cover art to WEIRD SCIENCE # 13 (actually, the 2nd issue).

 

This is one of my favourite Feldstein Science Fiction covers (from my favourite EC title). Up until recently, Steve Ferzoco owned the art. I didn't think it was something he'd want to part with (I did ask a while back), and was surprised to see it consigned to a recent Heritage auction.

 

Couldn't afford to bid at the time, but thanks to another collector wanting me to trade him one of my own pieces, I pointed him in the direction of two covers I had my sights on and was lucky enough to land both.
