Probably the saddest, most comprehensive example of swiping I'll ever see right here. I was crushed when I first saw this.

 

According to John Romita, in the huge 75 years of DC book by Paul Levitz, there was at one time talk of a class action against Lichtenstein for plagiarism.

 

Shocking to think how feted he is in the fine art world, when it appears he was ripping of fellow professionals who were paid a tiny page rate for work he duplicated for big bucks.

 

Pizzes me off just thinking about it rantrant
