The Bat #1 9.2 was on their site and at their booth in SD yesterday. Today's it's off their site. I wonder if it sold at the show.

Yes, I pulled trigger on the Batman #1 9.2 MP. I met with Vince at Comic Con and had a chance to see the beautiful copy in person. The book arrive at my door yesterday morning. Though I would like to replace the holder.

Was that the 7.5 MP? If so, I really like that copy. Wish I'd decided to buy a Bat #1 before that auction.

Do we know who did the resto? Does it have a certificate from the restorer?

 

I think restoration is an interesting part of the provenance of a book. Someone cared enough about the book to have it worked on, and someone worked on it for hours. It kind of makes up for the PLOD a little if you know the history.
