Is this what that image is from originally? I used to have a Misfits shirt with this image on it. Nice work by the way.

Well not exactly the same.

Q. : You and others do these cover recreations quite abit...... well, what happens with them ? I mean, are you doing it for the practice or are there buyers for this kind of thing ? Why don't you do something original ??

1) for practice

2) sometimes there are buyers (always taking requests and open to pricing :) )

3) mostly for fun

This last one is in my sketch diary. I was trying originally to do a sketch piece per day, but that didn't work out. So now I'm going to see about doing at least one GA horror cover recreation every two weeks or so between other art projects. It actually being used to sharpen up before I start on my own comic that is GA Horror based.

Here is a picture for reference so you can see the size of this one...

I never understood that either Mike! I'm the kind of guy that likes to do his own thing, not someone elses. (shrug)

I do my own stuff to. But I do reproductions and other kinds of work as a way of studying other artists workflows, methods, etc.

Like while I did this one of Rossmo's

Do you use a light box or over head projector? I hear that's how most cover recreators do things.
