Do book length creases have a middle road?

If this is the only major flaw and the rest are minor or non-exsistent, does it take the book down no higher than 3.0(first grade where BLC is allowed)? This appears to be a subcription crease(and dimpled all confused-smiley-013.gifthe way through book) since it is right down the middle of the book. This book without the BLC would easily grade 9.2-9.0, so is it doomed to 3.0, or is there a middle road for subscription BLC vs non-subscription BLC? Opinions and thouhgts would be 'tated.
