Adventure Con in Glendale

I heard about it last month via Atomic's. They have a small table near the exit with some fliers. I think I will check it out.

What should us Arizonans expect?

Well looking at the guest list not much. THe Knoxville one was terrible this year with celebrities overall (well had some good artists).

 

Since Las Vegas Auto's bought out the name, it's gone downhill IMO.

I wasn't attracted to it via the guest list either (except for William Katt, you gotta like the guy.) I was just wondering if they have a strong enough emphasis on selling comic books to make the cover charge worthwhile or if they're more Hollywood/anime/junk oriented. I am really going solely to buy comics.

 

I'm also thinking Arthur Suydam must live around here somewhere because this is at least the 4th straight con in Phoenix he's appearing in.

For those of you who planned on going to this late this month, the con's been postponed to March of next year. Too close to the Cactus ComicCon and a potential trip the following month for me to have the funds to attend.
