I figure it like this. The guy sells 20 books with a guaranteed refund on all fees incurred, including CGC and shipping, etc. ("the only such guarantee on eBay").

 

At most, 15 or so are returned for a refund, no harm, no foul and , most importantly, no neg. The money made on the 5 that didn't get checked will easily pay for the refunds of the submission fees. The "returns" eventually get re-listed to be purchased again, and the cycle continues. You don't need to be Columbo to figure this game out. The private usernames are there to protect the incompetent.

The same book keeps getting listed on Ebay every few months, the photo is just far enough away that you can't confirm its the same book. Thats why no flat scans where one could identify a small color breaking crease.
