So Much Fun, Inc ?

But why did they do it? And who are they? What was the point?

That's the whole point, everyone is blibbing and blabbing about rarity, sales prices, titles, scans, but no one every takes the time to EXPLAIN their history, purpose, etc.

Doesn't this explain it?

I was referring to this:

http://stlcomics.com/gallery/somuchfun/

It started as a picture gallery. It gets a lot of hits. James added on some of the price data that was tracked. It is as simple as that. Aside from that 5000 number, we try not to speculate too much.

What more would you like to see there? The pictures for the multi-pack are in the process of being added. I think James is waiting for some scans from the forum member that purchased it though.

So again, I would ask anyone, what more would you like to see added to the gallery?

Ah, got it. You don't really care about their history, purpose, etc. You just don't like the fact that everyone is blibbing and blabbing about rarity, sales prices, titles, scans.

No, I just hate it when inbred maroons always *assume* that everyone in the world knows all about their latest ADD fixation, and only care about a cover gallery or resale value.

For example, if you want to learn more about 30 or 35-cent variants, these pages are perfect, as both offer cover scans, estimated rarity AND a short breakdown on exactly WTF these things are:

Good work all around, and certainly valid links that I would pass along to other collectors.

In the future, JC, we will all be sure to send links to you first. You know, for your approval. meh

No problem. The site over there has a ton of variant info.

I am not going to debate the significance of Paul's 30-35 cent pages. He is a pioneer in the variant field and I salute his contributions, but give me a break Vince, those pages have not been updated in 4 years, and he does not have scans of all the books.

Like I tried to say before, the SMF gallery started as a collection of pictures, and James added some price tracking information.

Take all of our galleries for example--they are picture galleries. Scans are important to James. It is what he likes and hosts for the general public. We have large scans for every 30 cent variant, 35 cent variant, DC whitman variant, So Much Fun variant, Shan lon variant, Modern Discount Marvel, Modern Comics reprints, and tons of foreign editions to name a few.

We are working to keep the galleries updated, and adding new projects as time and volunteers can contribute. We have been tracking variant prices of open listing variants on Ebay for years.

WTF do you want for free? Sorry the efforts of us "Inbred Maroons" are not living up to your expectations.
