Getting inks on OA

5 posts in this topic

I know that now-a-days, some OA is only done in pencil and inks are added via computer. Can you have an artist ink the piece? Will it hinder the value? Or is it better to leave it alone?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But most people do not want to alter published art in anyway. I mean, if that was the way it was published, don't change it.

You can have it blueline inked if you really want it inked though.

Besides the pencils to computer stuff, it seems that there are a growing number of artists that now work directly on the computer. No inks, no pencils, no original.

I like the new X-Force art but I was told that Clayton Crain doesn't have artwork to sell. Everything is done electronically.
