These books are from a collection I helped my brother put together, we've had them for about 15 years and are getting around to having the keys slabbed.

This is the first time I have tried grading on here.. But I think I have gotten OK from reading this forum a lot..

I would go with 7.5

 

Am I off???

I cant tell whats going on with the one edge. Chipping, splits, tears, creases

 

But that copy is HOT !

Going to say 6.5 maybe a 7.0. Too bad about the Marvel Chipping stress fractures because that is a ncie copy with great color depth.

Even with the Marvel chipping I say 7.0/7.5.

The pre-marvel chipping is pretty bad for me. I have a hard time going as high as 7.0. What is the darker area along the RH edge? Does it have tape on the inside of the front cover?

I would say it looks every bit a 7.0!

6.0 again I have seen sharper books with chipping get 6.5 so I went a grade lower although it probably gets same grade of 6.5

Aces, Green and tfl were spot on with a few others mentioning the grade witout commiting to it:

no tape of any kind on it by the way, that right edge is rough with the pre-marvel chipping but otherwise a real nice book. I think we bought it as a 7.0.
