Billy Tucci Attends the Boston Comic Con!

Working from a one bedroom apartment in 1994, Billy Tucci self-published the phenomenally successful comic property Shi. At times outselling Batman and Superman, over 4 million Shi comics have been sold worldwide along with a vast array of related merchandise. Shi is an industry superstar that has additionally produced many blockbuster cross-over projects with some of the most well known Marvel and independent characters including Daredevil, Witchblade, and Wolverine of X-Men fame.

Tucci is currently working on the highly anticipated new Sgt. Rock: The Last Battalion mini-series for DC Comics, for which he traveled to Normandy and Vosges to do research. It has been far too many years since Billy's last appearance in Boston. Welcome back!

The Boston Comic Con hosts over 13,000 square feet of vendors selling comic books, toys, posters, and other comic book related memorabilia. The event will be held Sunday November 2, 2008 at The Back Bay Events Center, 180 Berkeley St., Boston, MA from 10am to 5pm. Admission is $10. Children 10 and under are free. Go to www.bostoncomiccon.com for more information.

Nah- she's staying home this time. She enjoyed herself last time, but she says she'd be embarrassed by my gushing over Wrightson and she couldn't bear to watch it.

Knit hat and glasses, huh... sounds like a real LOSER!
