Can I have a witness send a blank sketch cover to an artist who doesn't make appearances and have that artist send the book directly to CGC for grading under the SS label? This would not be witnessed by the witness.

The less complicated answer is no. This is not SOP for Signature Series.

 

The more complicated answer is maybe --- but under very strict pre-approved and pre-arranged circumstances - circumstances which I'm not going to detail here on the boards (and it isn't up for discussion - hence I've locked the thread) because there are variables to consider in every possible situation and approval is never guaranteed...

 

Your best bet would be to call CGC and speak directly with Paul Litch. Explain what you want to do and Paul will see if something can be worked out.
